Spectacular store! I went in looking for a pair of casual/everyday shoes. Purchased a great looking pair of shoes. Brian was very very helpful in highlighting every shoes features and what he recommended for me. Within two weeks the shoes glue began to fail....a little disappointing but hey it happens. I gave them a call and explained I had only worn the shoes around two week before the sole began to separate. Was told they were a factory defect shoe. I explained to the manager that I live in Canada and would not be back to the store until my next visit to Boise. He sent me a new pair of shoes!!!! Wow! Old School Service! Love it, would definitely recommend this store to everyone. New Balance for Life

Great selection of shoes. I described to the staff what I was looking for and they showed me several styles the fit what I was looking for. It was tough to narrow the selection down to one. I think I'll go back for the other two pair that I liked. The pair that I ended up with are comfy light and have a Vibram sole. This is my first pair of New Balance shoes but I'm already very impressed.

I have been a fan of NB for 20 years. I have several issues with my feet and was heading to a wheel chair. New Balance stresses the importance of sit and fit. I explained my issues and the sales staff recommended a shoe that changed my life. The sales staff are trained technicians. They are not just cashiers. If they don’t have the answer to a question, they will find it. Because of the rigorous training that new associates are offered, it takes time to develop skill and knowledge. I have always been impressed with the loyalty and commitment Josh and all the employees have in making all the customers feel like they received the best service and product. Ok, they are not perfect. However, they try. If you are unhappy, please let them make it right. They will! We had a customer try to return shoes that were purchased nine months ago. They were “uncomfortable”. If they had been returned in a timely manner, they might have been able to exchange the shoe. As it was, a healthy discount on a new pair of shoes was offered. Full disclosure, I am related to the owner, but all the statements are true.

Friendly staff that knows their shoes. We had to order a pair as my husband has an uncommon size. They told us that we were under absolutely no obligation to purchase them if we came back in and he ended up not liking them. Very low pressure atmosphere. We will definitely come buy shoes from them again.

I have plantar fasciitis and very wide feet. I also wear custom inserts and work on my feet all day. I struggle to find supportive shoes and today was the easiest shoe shopping experience I've ever had. They measured my feet with a 3D imaging program and recommended a variety of shoes to choose from. They had my size in stock and the whole thing took about 20 minutes. The staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. I will definitely be returning for all my shoe needs in the future.

The man who I got to meet with at the New Balance store was really nice to me and my wife and he took the time to listen to me talk about how my right foot has a tendency to get pretty swollen during the hot summer months and regardless of what I do to combat the swelling it changes very little with how swollen it gets. He understood my need for a new shoe that had plenty of extra room in the toe box to accommodate my foot. He set about looking at my foot and then said that he thought that they had a shoe that was a 6E width and went to look for it. He came back with two different shoes that we tried on my foot to see which one actually had the larger toe box. There was only the one shoe that fit my foot and felt comfortable enough for me to feel like I could wear the shoe for a longer period of time and still be comfortable with out binding or pinching the instep of my foot. Luckily the shoe he had was the correct size and actually did have a large toe box that up to then I was not able to find a shoe that fit me that wasn’t two or three sizes too large for my foot and yet had the room I needed. I was also lucky in the sense that this particular shoe was the ONLY ONE THEY HAD IN THE STORE! He said that that model was an older version that was not available anymore so even if I’d needed a different size they would not have been able to order it since Now Balance had discontinued the model!! So I guess it was providence that brought me to this store on that day to meet the sales person who knew what they had in stock and would fit me perfectly. He also was able to give me a military discount price for the shoe and since it was a close out item he was willing to give me a little bit more of a discount!! My wife and I left the store very much satisfied with the price and the shoe. We both commented that the man who helped us was a very knowledgeable person who knew the product, listened to my concern and condition of my foot and truly understood my needs and with his k

The manger / service rep Bennie Miller at the Meridian Idaho store was an exceptional experience to work with. He did a an above excellent job to help resolve my issue. I would highly recommend this individual for any customer service or managerial recognition or promotion Best regards, Brian

New Balance really nails the comfort game. I used to think they were just “dad shoes,” but after trying a pair, I totally get the hype. Supportive, durable, and surprisingly stylish—especially some of the newer designs. Great for long days on your feet or casual walks. The store was easy to shop, and the staff actually helped me find the right fit instead of just pointing at shelves. Not flashy, but functional in the best way. Feels like they’re made to be worn, not just looked at.

Awesome customer service. The worker helped me find the right shoe and fit to help with my plantar fasciitis, and was really informative. When my shoe started peeling due to defect they gave me no trouble immediately replacing them, which was a quick and simple process. Great local run company, even though it's a big name! Go support the only New Balance store here in Idaho, they're great folks!
